Where Are Those Moderate Muslims?? HERE!!

I wasn’t planning on writing more on this topic for at least a little while, but I came across this and thought it was PERFECT, and needed to be seen by all. Many have asked where are the voices of Muslims, crying out against terrorism. I have asked the same thing. We can put part of that on our media, how many of you have seen the story below?? I stayed tuned into cable news all day long, and I haven’t seen this story. It all follows what I have said many times. Good news just doesn’t sell. Will anyone give this credit?? Or will the typical anti-Muslim bigots, call this an aberration and all these people not “true” Muslims.

Tabraiz Feham writes from Pakistan:

THIS IS OUR NO TO EXTREMISM

15 Apr – 2007

Hundreds of thousands of people gathered in sizzling heat of Karachi to condemn and raise their voice against extremism and what they call it “Danda Bardaar Shariyat”. This is a sheer display and warning for a mere 2% minority of extremists to correct their vices… This is not Afghanistan, Welcome to Pakistan.

Mammoth historical rally

Ocean of Masses

Religious scholars from different School of thoughts are present in the Rally

    Really?
How do we know what’s what? Because you’re telling us so?
There are surely a lot of people on your streets, but me thinks they are demonstrating for more Islam rather than less. Or could it be they are demonstrating against the Mohound cartoons in Sweden?

  2. Eagle Says:

Well, since there are photo’s of the banners, I would say that you get someone who understands the language to answer your question. As for me, I believe that it is, what it is. Not to mention the fact that it was taken some months after the cartoon thing was over. I will do some research and find out for sure, using the press of Pakistan. Not that you will believe me, based on your comment. But you should know that this dates to April of 2007, when were those protests over the cartoons??

If this was posted on JihadWatch by Robert Spencer stating this was a demonstration for more Islam would you ask him whether it wasnt a protest against extremists?
Google this, you will find some references in the Dawn. What a surprise no western media has covered this ?
Why not be happy that there are some or lots of muslims who would oppose extremism?

  4. Eagle Says:

    Thank you cerebate

    Hello Eagle

Still reading you in my “News Blog Editorial” routine.

  6. Eagle Says:

Good to know senor doeboy. Welcome to this site.

  7. Tim Says:

We can only pray for Karachi and for Pakistan as a whole. It is widely believed that Pakistan is holding the floodgates in place and if the government there falls to the Taliban style Islamic Movement that is trying to destabalize that nation, then we are all in trouble because it will mean that the terrorists will be equipped with atomic weapons.

Believe me when I say that there are not many civilized nations that will sit idly by and watch that happen. If Pakistan falls to the terrorists, then get ready for WWIII old school, if you know what I mean.

    Look at the pictures carefully

    Men are segregated from women

    Moderation

  9. butterfly Says:

Big deal, so what? You think those peaceful moderate Muslims are willing to die for their cause? Because we know the radical Muslims are. Whose card gets trumped here? I’ll tell you what, when I start reading headlines like, “56 Muslim clerics denounced for preaching hate and expelled by moderates,” or “Muslim moderates help pass No-Sharia laws in Europe,” or …see what I mean? What does marching in the streets do? NOTHING. And while you continue doing nothing, “moderate” will continue to have sneer quotes around it.

    Big deal, so what?

    Yeah, Big deal, so what?

Does bringing out people in large numbers really show the TRUTH ?

Saddam Hussain used to have rallies in 80’s of similar nature Even the mass murdered Muqtada-Al Sadr can bring people on streets.

yes , the segregation and treatment of women in some or most Islamic society is bad and should be changed.

I assume by your nickname you have some Indian roots. We face as big a problem in India today. Have you read up on the essays by Amartya Sen on the level of female infanticide? Perhaps we should be more active in fixing things in our society, instead of pointing it out in other societies isnt it?

  12. koranist Says:

Islam is peace. Pakistan is a large country, there is all kinds of people. Remember they elected a muslim woman, Bhutto, to be their president. Its no Taliban. They can only come to power through American and Pakistani help as they did early in Afghanistan.

No I have no Indian roots, Shiva/Siva is also a Slavic goddess. Her name means “living, being, existing.”

Yes I am fully aware of the female infanticide in India, but this is not the place to discuss that poblem.

  14. Eagle Says:

    Shiva,

Maybe I am blind, but how can you see that women are on one side and men on the other?? When I look closely I can see men on both sides, keeping in mind that women would be wearing the hijab.

There is only one picture, the one of the scholars, where you can see somewhat plainly, who they are. Otherwise, nothing else on those picture is clear enough to know whether men and women are separated.

Ah, thank you very much, for those new pictures. In some it indeed seems to show segragation, but in others it does not. Take for example the photo below the guy with the teeshirts that say peaceful on them. In the center you can see a woman even without the hijab. There is at least 2-3 other women in that photo as well. And I’m seeing them with blurry eyes from too much time on the computer. 😀

You also helped prove my point on what kind of rally it was. So thanks for that as well. 😀

  18. Shiva Says:

    Eagle
You also helped prove my point on what kind of rally it was. So thanks for that as well.

Have you checked out the history of the organizers of this rally.

  19. EloiVsDiablo Says:

The violence, beheadings, stonings, rioting, murder of infidels, apostates and generally just about anybody, for that matter, will continue until this talk of Islam being violent stops!!!

  20. Eagle Says:

    EloiVsDiablo,
    uh what??

    Shiva,
No I haven’t, my point is what they are saying now, and what all those tens of thousands are saying. You don’t think that all those people are part of the organizers do you??

  21. Tim Says:

    koranist,

Saying Islam is Peace is mindless rhetoric. It has no real meaning unless the behavior of those who follow it are peaceful. Most of the debate here is with regards to answering that question.

On one side the point is that there are over a Billion Muslims and most of them are not terrorists.

The answer to that seems to be, the Muslims who are terrorists claim to be following Islam and saying that the “Peaceful” Muslims need to get with the program. Meanwhile the “peaceful” Muslims are claiming that Islam is Peace, and those who say otherwise do not understand Islam.

It is confusing, because, from my personal perspective, the primary direction of the “Islam is Peace” rhetoric is directed at non-Muslims. Meanwhile another bin Laden video is released and we will likely see more than this (above) number of people in the streets supporting his message.

Is Muslims want to truly convince the world that they are peaceful, then they need to do a better job of distancing themselves from Terrorists.

For instance, how about the next time someone gets up in a Mosque to preach a message of destroying the West and making us submit to Islam, a “moderate” Muslim gets his license number and calls the department of homeland security to report the terrorist threat? Is it so much to ask that the people who claim to not be associated with the terrorists start helping to contain them within the western countries such as the US and UK?

Maybe I am stereotyping here, but I vividly remember Muslim FBI agents who refused to spy on other Muslims who were plotting terrorist attacks in the US claiming that it was against their religion to spy on their fellow Muslims. My question is, How can this be if the terrorists are not real Muslims anyway?

  22. Shiva Says:

my point is what they are saying now, and what all those tens of thousands are saying.

And just what are they saying now.

Also can you explain why another rally they( MQM (Muttahida Qaumi Movement), organized q month later became a blood bath

(On May 12, 2007, riots erupted across Karachi, capital of the province of Sindh and the most populous city in Pakistan.

During the riots city roads were blocked, cars burned and hundreds of people were injured and arrested, most of them Political workers.

The most recent reports of the incident also included a death count that rose to as high as forty-one people.

    BTW

There are religous reasons for sexual segregation at rallies of this type, which you seem to overlook.

As with this rally as with so many,The rally started with a call to prayers. And outside of Mecca muslims are not allowed to mix while praying

    05.00pm
Muttahida rally was started started by the recitation verses of Holy Quran and thereafter Prominent Shiat cleric Allama Oan Naqvi, Jafria Alliance has started his speech to the participants of the rally.

And how about this for Deceit

    London – 14th April 2007
MQM Founder & Leader Mr Altaf Hussain has appealed to the people of Pakistan in general and the people of Sindh in particular to participate in large numbers in the Muttahida Rally on Sunday, April 15, 2007 at 2pm to show their solidarity and prove that they are liberal and reject the baton and kalashinkov shariat and religious extremism.

He quoted the verse of the Holy Quran where the Allah Almighty proclaims, “Let there be no compulsion in religion”. The Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) never used baton, sword or any form of kalashinkov to spread the peaceful message of Islam. In fact he spread Islam through his character, practice, love, affection and peaceful preaching.

  23. Eagle Says:

    Shiva,

You sure are angry. Why exactly do you care what I think?? So you think all of Islam is evil, I don’t. You went to your blog and insulted me there without full knowledge of what I knew or didn’t know about this post here. Seems to me it is you who are showing the most hate.

You see my source for this post. Did you see any place where I had the information you had?? No you don’t. The fact of the matter is the main source of the info was a blogger from Pakistan. His opinion is typed above the pictures. I will leave that link here. The point is, he feels the same way as all those marchers.

Do I care about the organizers?? NO I DON’T!! I care about the fact that all those people stood up together and said, NOT US!!! You should be happy about that!! As far as I am concerned its nice to see so many people standing up against radical Islam.

  24. Ee Doh Moh Says:

Moderate Muslims are irrelevant just like moderate Christians are irrelevant. As a Christian leader I am willing to stand up and publically condemn murder, injustice, and oppression by those proclaiming to be Christian. The core issue is revealed in the spiritual dynimics of the war between the spirit of Islam and the Spirit of Christ. Islam is the Spirit of Anti Christ in that its major tennant declares that Allah has no children; whereas, Christianity declare Jesus to be Messiah, the only begotten Son of God.

  25. Shiva Says:

No you don’t. The fact of the matter is the main source of the info was a blogger from Pakistan.

So you are making your assumption from just one blogger.

Also your source did not contain more than sixty words, plus a few pictures from the organizers site.

Do I care about the organizers?? NO I DON’T

    Even if they are criminals

I care about the fact that all those people stood up together and said, NOT US!!!

And how do you know they where saying NOT US,,
Looking at the fotos, seems that it was more a rally support for Altaf Hussain.

Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) while addressing the huge mammoth historical rally organised by the MQM against religious extremism and baton and kalashnikov shariah has stated that this “Rally” is for Pakistan and is against those who are presenting a distorted image of true Islam and Pakistan and maligning both Islam and Pakistan before the World Community.

He said that today’s Rally is peoples Referendum against “Kalashnikov and Danda Bardar Shariah” and particularly in this “Rally”, which is such a mammoth gathering in history of the Sub-Continent before and after the partition of India and Pakistan. The public has come out on the appeal of Altaf Hussain, sitting thousands of miles away from Pakistan. Allah’s message delivered to us through the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and the Holy Quran is that when believers of this religion called for the “Rally” then Allah Almighty bestowed in your hearts and minds to go and participate in today’s rally for the religion of Islam and its glory.

This is also a demonstration of attachment to a leader who carries true interest and aspirations of the people and the country.

Now here is something more that you have over-looked, This rally was against religious extremism, Lal Masjid and Madrassah Hafsa’s Batons and Kalashnikov Shariah. There is no mention about opposition of Islamic Shariah

    BTW
I am using the same source as the blogger you quoted

  26. Eagle Says:

Yeah, I posted the story based on two bloggers, don’t like it, too bad. I guess I can do what I want on my blog. I know that your mister all knowing, but personally I couldn’t care less what you have to say. I think its great that the kid who posted the story, was in Pakistan, at the rally and made his feelings known as well. I think its great that all those people said that they did not want the Taliban to run their country. I think its great that 88% of people in Egypt feel the same way. I think its great that the Sunni’s in Iraq are turning away from al Qaeda and fighting them because they have seen first hand what al Qaeda is about. I think its great that Muslims across the earth are learning and turning away from the type of thing that spawned Bin Laden. I think that is the absolute best thing that we can hope for. When I see it, I will print it because it deserves being told. I am not one who blames Islam, I blame jerks. I blame stupid people who think they can force the world into embracing their idea’s through violence. How stupid is that. I think that any time we see good we should print it. Some think that there is no good as far as Islam and Muslims are concerned. I don’t believe that, if YOU have a problem with that, its your problem, not mine.

  27. awake Says:

“Yeah, I posted the story based on two bloggers, don’t like it, too bad. I guess I can do what I want on my blog.”

Agreed, Eagle, you can, but you can do better than that I am sure.

  28. Shiva Says:

    Eagle

“Yeah, I posted the story based on two bloggers, don’t like it, too bad. I guess I can do what I want on my blog.”

Very true, it is why I have been less critical of you here.

BTW, how rallies have you been to any-where in asia.

  29. Shiva Says:

I blame jerks. I blame stupid people who think they can force the world into embracing their idea’s through violence.

So Mohammed was a stupid jerk, just to point out that he fought or led in 66 battles, including raid of Uhud, battle at Badr, raid of Hunayn, raid of Tabuk, etc.

The person and life of Muhammad is put before us not only by contemporary Muslim authors, but already in the Qur’an as the ideal and role model to follow.

    A role model to follow

Muhammad, on the whole, appeared to be a pious man. There are, however, several interesting contradictions in his own life. One of the most damaging was his relationship with his enemies.

From Ibn Sa`d’s Kitab al-Tabaqat al-Kabir, translated by S. Moinul Haq, volume 2, pages 30-31.

    SARIYYAH OF `UMAYR IBN `ADI
Then (occurred) the sariyyah of `Umayr ibn `Adi Ibn Kharashah al-Khatmi against `Asma’ Bint Marwan, of Banu Umayyah Ibn Zayd, when five nights had remained from the month of Ramadan, in the beginning of the nineteenth month from the hijrah of the apostle of Allah. `Asma’ was the wife of Yazid Ibn Zayd Ibn Hisn al-Khatmi. She used to revile Islam, offend the prophet and instigate the (people) against him. She composed verses. Umayr Ibn Adi came to her in the night and entered her house.

Her children were sleeping around her. There was one whom she was suckling. He searched her with his hand because he was blind, and separated the child from her.

He thrust his sword in her chest till it pierced up to her back.

Then he offered the morning prayers with the prophet at al-Medina. The apostle of Allah said to him: “Have you slain the daughter of Marwan?” He said: “Yes. Is there something more for me to do?”

He [Muhammad] said: “No. Two goats will butt together about her. This was the word that was first heard from the apostle of Allah. The apostle of Allah called him `Umayr, “basir” (the seeing).

This event reflects upon the man who started Islam: Islam is built upon Muhammad’s words and deeds. We see here that Muhammad had a woman brutally murdered.

She was killed because she spoke out against him, and became more of a nuisance, not a legitimate threat. Further, Muhammad had no legal right to kill her.

He took the situation into his own hands and had her murdered. Muhammad felt that this murder was helping God; he felt no guilt, or sense of repentance.

Since Muhammad as a person with his personal conduct is the example for Muslims to follow, and all that he has said (and done) was believed to be out of inspiration, the Sunna (example of Muhammad) and the hadith (reports of his words and acts) are foundational to Islam

In fact, it is through the example of Muhammad that I judge the mindset of most Muslims.

  30. Elric66 Says:

Why dont you blame Islam Eagle? Everything these “jerks” do is commanded in the Qur’an.

And I still see you are in the “this is my blog kick” Just dont complain when your comments on jihadist sites are deleted.

    Shiva,

Be careful when you quote the Qur’an and hadiths. Eagle hates its when you actually use facts about Islam. Eagle wants his readers ignorant on Islam.

  31. Eagle Says:

    Elric

What did I say about your links?? Let me refresh your memory, I don’t want them. Period. Actually I don’t want you anywhere near me or my blog. But as per usual, you never listen to anything I have to say.

  32. Shiva Says:

I have asked Eagle if he has attended any rallies in Asia.
I ask this, to see how much Eagle knows about how things really work here in Asia and Islamic lands.

I suggest Eagle come here to Asia and spend some time in the rural disricts, where he can see how the villagers have no problems with being bussed to rallies for a bowl of rice and a few cents a day

  33. Shiva Says:

Now for your information, I live in Indonesia, and I have personally witnessed a complete community of moderate muslims run amok and burn down 28 churches, I would like to add that a few people were in the churches..

I have a friend whose wife and two daughters (16 and 11 years old) where gang raped, sodomized and killed by radical muslims..

Now you tell me where are all those moderate muslims, when all the radicals are burning and looting..

Where are the moderate muslims, when the radical muslims are forcing christian men and women to become muslims, and then cut off their sexual organs..

    Where are these so-called “magical”moderate muslims ?

  34. Shiva Says:

    Good morning Eagle

Hope you slept well your eyes are better now and not so blurry.

It is haraam for women to imitate men and men to imitate women in the way they dress, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) cursed the men who imitate women and the women who imitate men.”
    Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5546.

Good, now please look at the pixs 1 2 3 and 4 5 6 above, you will see that there is a barrier in the center, on one side you will notice that there are people dressed in many colours, such as turquoise, orange, yellow and blue, where as on the other side nearly everybody is wearing white, the same as all the men in picture 9.

This is because moslem mens clothing must not carry any resemblance to women’s dress.

This means men’s dress must not involve any kind of feminine style of adornment: pure silk, golden dress, very bright and fast color, are all considered permissible for women, but not for men.

There-for, as can be seen in the pictures above there is a clear distiction between the two halves, the colourful half (Women), a the white half (men)

It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw ‘Ali wearing two garments dyed with safflower and said: “These are garments of the kuffaar; do not wear them.”
    Narrated by Muslim, 2077.

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Wear white clothes, for they are the best of your clothes, and shroud your dead in them.”
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 994, hasan saheeh.

So much for moderate moslems when the still practice segregation of the sexes.

  35. Eagle Says:

    Shiva,

Good for you, now all you and elric need to do is find one more person and you can have a….

I know your all seeing and all knowing just like elric, the bottom line is I don’t care what you have to say. Read the comment I left for awake under “Reform in Islam” and you’ll get my impression and feelings in regards to people like you. I never cared for “know it all”, people like you. Most people don’t. Especially when its done in a sarcastic manner.

I’m sorry that any friend or family member of yours has been a victim of Islamist. My son was a victim of a pedophile, are all men pedophiles??

Can’t you find anything better to do than then come here and find all my errors??

  36. Eagle Says:

And for your information, I have not gone to bed yet. 😦 but am heading that way. When I say how much time I spend on the computer I meant it. It is pushing 4 in the AM right now.

  37. Shiva Says:

My son was a victim of a pedophile,

Yet the role model of Moderate moslems, Radical moslems, Illumi moslems and what ever you like to call them moslems just happened to be a pedophile.

    Al-Khudri reported:
We took excellent women captives, and we wanted to do ‘azl'(rape by coitus interruptus) with them.
We asked Allah’s Messenger, and he encouraged us to rape without “azl

    http://illustratedpig.blogspot.com/2007/01/sick-al-i-imran-319-pt2.html

A sex offender is dealt with in the USA, and the chances are the scumbag that destroyed your son is behind bars and hope he is getting the same treatment.

Yet the scumbags in the link above are still walking as free men. What is more sick is three Christians where hung for opposing skumbags who follow the teachings of mohammed, the same teaching of what all moslems follow.

I do not care what the so called moderate moslems have to say, because as long as they remain moslem, they are associating themselves to one of the most vilest creatures that has every walked this planet.

No matter what you say, or any of your so called moderate moslems have to say, Islam remains the most perverse and evil ideology ever to evolve from man.

Can’t you find anything better to do than then come here and find all my errors??

Not when your errors are dangerous assumptions made by a person who refuses to research into what they post..

  38. Elric66 Says:

    Shiva,

The Islamic prophet was a pedophile so why would Muslims see something morally wrong with pedophila?

  39. Elric66 Says:

Oh and why did you take the poll down Eagle? Didnt want your reders to see Osama’s approval rating in Pakistan ?

  40. Shiva Says:

    Elric66

What did Eagle say about your links?? Let me refresh your memory, He don’t want them.

Period. Actually he don’t want you anywhere near him or his blog. But as per usual, you never listen to anything he has to say.

    Elric66 Says:

The Islamic prophet was a pedophile so why would Muslims see something morally wrong with pedophila?

What is puzzling is why Eagle a self proclaimed christian, can accept Islam when Islams founder was not only a rapist of young a girl, but was also lustful for a baby

    Ishaq:311
“The Apostle saw Ummu’l when she was a baby crawling before his feet and said, ‘If she grows up, I will marry her.’ But he died before he was able to do so.”

I have more respect for the radical moslems than for the so called moderates, reformers and the clue-less moslem appeasers

The radicals are telling us the truth about Islam.

    Qur’an 33:21
“You have in (Muhammad) the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern of conduct for any one to follow.”

True fact, the Qur’an was written to justify some of the most ungodly behavior the world has ever known.

  41. Elric66 Says:

No shiva, not a word about Osama’s 46 approval rating in his ‘moderate” pakistan.

At least the “radicals” are up front about their intentions. They dont worry me. Groups like CAIR and MSA are the groups we should be worried about.

I am not really sure Eagle is a Christian. I would think a true Christian would be more concerned about Islam’s 1400 year intolerant history of Christianity.

  42. Shiva Says:

Well it is Eagles site, so it really is his choice about the Osamas ratings.

Any way, I could have told you that Osama is more popular than Musharaf.

I do not have to see by the polls, I can see by how I see more Osama T- shirts than Britany Spears T-shirts.

  43. Elric66 Says:

    Shiva,

That is true, it is his site. He is the one selling the idea that Pakistan is “moderate”. If he wants honest debate, he should allow the otherside to put forth their proof.

  44. Eagle Says:

Did I say anywhere that I thought Pakistan was a moderate country?? NO I didn’t, I said that there were people protesting against Bin Laden, the Taliban and Sharia. But I am not surprised to see you make that leap. You seem to do that a lot.

  45. Eagle Says:

Pakistan hangs in the balance, we better all pray it doesn’t fall to the radicals since they have nuclear weapons.

  46. Elric66 Says:

Europe hangs in the balance too. So does India. Both have nukes and a growing Muslim population.

You catch the story about the med student in Dearborn picked up carrying an assualt rifle and wearing cammo?

  47. Elric66 Says:

“NO I didn’t, I said that there were people protesting against Bin Laden, the Taliban and Sharia.”

How do you know what they are protesting? I dont see one sign in English. When they protest cartoons, they make sure they get their English signs out.

  48. Shiva Says:

    Elric66

They where protesting against the , imposition of baton and kalashinkov shariat at the Lal Masjid (Red Mosque) and Jamia Hafsa in Islamabad, also a demonstration of attachment to a leader (ALTAF HUSSAIN) who carries true interest and aspirations of the people and the country

Also they where protesting to what was happening in Islamabad.

If you should go to the organizers (MQM) site then it is possible to get all the information about the rally.

Also more photos, where one just happens to show a group of people wearing T-Shirts That say “Peaceful MUTTAHIDA” Muttahida being another name for the MQM.

One more interesting thing is on the organizers site many of the photos have the image of the founder of MQM ( ALTAF HUSSAIN) super-imposed on then, then when we look more closely we will see most people are carrying posters of ALTAF HUSSAIN

    Eagle
wrote or quoted at the beginning of his post…clipped and pasted or whatever with out checking any facts the following

Many have asked where are the voices of Muslims, crying out against terrorism. I have asked the same thing. We can put part of that on our media, how many of you have seen the story below??

I stayed tuned into cable news all day long, and I haven’t seen this story.

Yet when one looks at the organizers site we find that the media was out in full force

What is there to hide, Eagle

  49. Eagle Says:

    Shiva,
Not that you deserve any explanation, links and some comments go to the moderation page. And although I am on this site a lot, I am not here 24 hrs a day. So before you jump to conclusions maybe you ought to remember that even you, have comments on your blog go through moderation.

  50. in2thefray Says:

So the protestors were AGAINST the Red Mosque people ? Shiva isn’t that a good thing ?

  51. Elric66 Says:

Protesting against any mosque is a good thing.

  52. Elric66 Says:

The Taxi jihad is continuing . Its now in Milwaukee

  53. in2thefray Says:

“Protesting against any mosque is a good thing.” That’s a little bigoted isn’t it ?

  54. Elric66 Says:

About as bigoted as the Qur’an I would say.

  55. Shiva Says:

So the protestors were AGAINST the Red Mosque people ? Shiva isn’t that a good thing ?

Where have I said it isnt,

“Protesting against any mosque is a good thing.” That’s a little bigoted isn’t it ?

No…. It is one of the best and constructive comments on this blog

  56. in2thefray Says:

My first comment was a question. I didn’t say you didn’t. The fact is it wasn’t the Salvation Army protesting. They wuz Muslims ! The point being there are limits that even Muslims (and they’re real ones ) reach in tolerating behavior.
The second….there are sssooo many better and more constructive comments on this blog-this post.

Europe hangs in the balance too. So does India. Both have nukes and a growing Muslim population.

Im curious , on what do you base your knowledge of India hanging in the balance? The hindu’s are reproducing as fast as the muslims! (Im an indian , so your naive simple brutally straightforward answer will surely be a source of much amusement)

  58. cerebate Says:

    Eagle
Im sorry to hear about your son and I hope everythings ok now.
Inspite of terrorism and everything else, I still believe that the biggest threat to our society is the way our children get treated sometimes.

I have stayed in India for 25 years. And yes some muslim related problems. But the cause has rarely been Islam, but a lot of bastards who would be bastards no matter which religion they followed.
Oh and a few years back radical Hindu’s(im hindu by birth, though now ive outgrown religion) burnt a christian missionary who they claimed was proselytizing and they burnt his 11 year old son too. Now do you think the Hindus were referring to the Quran or Mohammed? Certainly no hindu text that i know of says its ok to burn a 11 yr old child.
    Some advice.
It is silly to let hatred beat reason.

  60. Eagle Says:

    cerebate,

Thanks for your concern, and I agree, we should be doing a better job with our kids. Sometimes I wish I had been born in a earlier era when our simple pleasures were our kids, our families, and our homes.

  61. Eagle Says:

Great point cerebate, I have read about Hindu violence myself, also Buddhist violence. Which really surprised me. :-O

  62. Shiva Says:

    Eagle

It is you that mentioned your son being a victim of a pedophile. I should say I am sorry, but some-how I could not care-less for your feelings when you are basically giving a green card to people whose model role figure was a sexual pervert who also committed a terrible crime against a young child, much like your own.

How would you feel about who began begin to idolize and worship the creature who desecrated your child.
