Israel, Prophecy, and The End Times 1

Israel, Prophecy, and The End Times 1 magnify

Time to delve into some of the bigger issues.  From here on, it is very important that you read each post.  They won’t always be in order, as I will have to go back and forth, trying to keep it in some order without giving it away to soon.  I won’t be leaving anything out, so as before, give me time to get it in first.  Also, understand that everyone doesn’t believe the same way and I will be going over some of that as well.

When you talk about the End Times and prophecy, there is one prophecy that can’t be left out.  We have already talked about a lot and we have lots more to go over but for today we will look at just one.  The State of Israel.  I know that most, if not all Christians know of this prophecy but for the benefit of those that don’t, and in addition to what the Bible says about Israel, I have put up some of what the Quran says. There will be more on this subject in future posts, as Israel is a prominent player in all Abrahamic faiths.

And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.  And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find [him], if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, [even] in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the LORD thy God [is] a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. Deuteronomy 4:27-31

And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.  Isaiah 11:11-12

For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. Jeremiah 30:3

For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and [for] my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.  Joel 3:1-3

In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: Amos 9:11

For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause [you] to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded. And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities [are become] fenced, [and] are inhabited. Ezekiel 36:24,33-35

I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: [but] they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto [that] shame; and [their] abominations were according as they loved. Hosea 9:10

One basket [had] very good figs, [even] like the figs [that are] first ripe: and the other basket [had] very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad. Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for [their] good. Jeremiah 24:2-5

The fig tree is used by Hosea and Jeremiah to refer to the Jewish people.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.  Matthew 24:32-34

Israel the fig tree has put forth its leaves and been reborn as a nation therefore the coming of Christ draws near.  Luke 21:32 also states that a generation would not pass.  A generation is between 70-100 years, Israel was established again on May 15, 1948.  Jews are still immigrating back to Israel from nations far and wide, just like the Bible said they would.  Now lets look at what the Quran has to say about Israel.

2:47 Children of Israel! call to mind the favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other nations. 2:122 O Children of Israel! call to mind the favor which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other nations. 7:137 And We made the children of Israel, who were considered weak (and of no account), inheritors of lands in both east and west, – lands whereon We sent down Our blessings. The fair promise of thy Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel, because they had patience and constancy, and We leveled to the ground the great works and fine
buildings which Pharaoh and his people erected (with such pride). 17:104 And We said thereafter to the Children of Israel, “Dwell securely in the land of promise”:
10:93 We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place, and provided for them sustenance of the best: it was after knowledge had been granted to them.

20:80 O ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a Covenant with you to give you the right side (the blessed side) of Mount Sinai, and We sent down to you Manna (special food) and quails.

26:59 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things (the promised land)

45:16 We did aforetime grant to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophet hood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favored them above all other nations.

44: 32 And We have chosen them (the Children of Israel) above the ‘Alamîn (mankind, and jinns) and our choice was based on a deep knowledge.

32.23] And certainly We gave the Book to Moses, so be not in doubt concerning the receiving of it, and We made it a guide for the children of Israel.
[32.24] And We made of them Guiding Lights and leaders to guide by Our command as they were patient, and they were certain of Our communications.

[17:100-104]”To Moses We [Allah] gave nine clear signs. Ask the Israelites how he [Moses] first appeared amongst them. Pharoah said to him: ‘Moses, I can see that you are bewitched.’ ‘You know full well,’ he [Moses] replied, ‘that none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth has revealed these visible signs. Pharoah, you are doomed.'” “Pharoah sought to scare them [the Israelites] out of the land [of Israel]: but We [Allah] drowned him [Pharoah] together with all who were with him. Then We [Allah] said to the Israelites: ‘Dwell in this land [the Land of Israel]. When the promise of the hereafter [End of Days] comes to be fulfilled, We [Allah] shall assemble you [the Israelites] all together [in the Land of Israel].”“We [Allah] have revealed the Qur’an with the truth, and with the truth it has come down. We have sent you [Muhammed] forth only to proclaim good news and to give warning.”

Ha, bet you didn’t know that the Quran also prophesied that the Jews would return to Israel in the last days too, did ya .  Sometimes I really wonder about what people like Bin Lyin, who professes to be so pious, and yet would like nothing more than to kill every Jew in Israel.  I wonder how he gets around the fact that Allah said that the Jews were suppose to re-control Israel.   No doubt he probably thinks that the reason the Jews were brought back to Israel was so that they were centrally located so they can be killed .  I’m sure that this one little paragraph will be enough to cause me all kinds of grief .  If I was smart, I would erase it… be gentle with me please .

There are Muslims who have no problem with Israel, probably because of what the Quran says.  There are others, which we will be getting to, who feel otherwise. There is also more on Israel that we will be getting to, so no worries, I haven’t forgotten anything…yet.  I’m sure you’ll let me know if I do.    One more thing, can any of my Muslim readers tell me who the ‘We’ is, in your scripture??  When referring to Allah, it says ‘we’ a lot, and I was just wondering who the ‘we’ is.  Is it trying to say that Allah has a wife?? I firmly believe time is short and am trying to get this stuff out as fast as I can, as it is extremely important for all faiths and non-faiths to see.

    I must say, I’m pretty impressed. 🙂

The Muslim-Jew conflict in the middle east is really complicated

Each side wants to erase the other and none of them can have an exclusive claim of ownership of the land.

    concerning “We” :

it is a feature of literary style in Arabic that a person may refer to himself by the pronoun ‘nahnu’ (we) for respect or glorification.

He may also use the word ‘ana’ (I), indicating one person, or the third person ‘huwa’ (he). All three styles are used in the Qur’an, where God addresses the Arabs in their own tongue.

    Peace 🙂

  2. Eagle Says:

    Thanks again Stefan,

You’ve been a wealth of information for me and I really appreciate it. I will take your answer and post it to my other blog.

I agree that both sides ramp up the rhetoric and no one will back down. It’s pretty stupid when you think about it. As I’m sure you already know. That is one of the reasons I wanted to use your post on the Jews.

God Bless you and yours! 😀

  3. Eagle Says:

BTW, I hope you are impressed in a good way. 😀

  4. Stefan Says:

in a good way Eagle 🙂

don’t worry i really like your comparative way of thinking and i have a lot of things to say but i don’t want interrupt your sequence of thoughts .

    God Bless you 🙂

  5. Stefan Says:

what people like Bin Lyin, who professes to be so pious, and yet would like nothing more than to kill every Jew in Israel.

thats a good point, to be able to find a solution to the conflict, we must first remove all the islamic antisemitic and the Jewish anti-islamic ideologies from their minds, replacing it by new peaceful ideologies from their books.

i would like you to read
    in-the-shade-of-death

to see how can one man cause deaths and destruction using his words combined with verses from the Quran.

It’s pretty stupid when you think about it

i think believing that someday, something is going to happen and one side will leave the land to the other is stupid and dangerous because we will face the same problems the Jews were facing throughout history or we’ll be facing mass murders and destruction .

    Benjamin Franklin:

There never was a good war or bad peace.

    Peace 🙂

  6. Eagle Says:

    Stefan,

I agree with you, but I don’t think that will happen sadly. In doing my research for this series, I found some disturbing stuff…which is why I wanted your post on the Jews. You will see, within the week what I am talking about.

But just because some think that way, does not mean we should stop trying to influence people in a positive way. Anyway, stay tuned. 😀

  7. Sukran Says:

“One more thing, can any of my Muslim readers tell me who the ‘We’ is, in your scripture??”

I take it directly as ‘Allah’. Since we have no idea what Allah look/looks like probably we call Allah as ‘they’ as well. As we know Allah is not an old wise man who sits over the clouds and watch the universe while chewing tobacco and itching his beard. We have no idea what Allah is/are; a System, a Light (Noor), a Voice, a Total, Oneness, etc.

So, apperantly our limited languages are not capable to even mention Allah.

  8. awake Says:

    Sukran,

What do you mean by that slight? Since we ALL know pictorial representations of Allah and Muhammad are forbidden in Islam, is this a slight against the Judeo-Christian historical pictorial representations of God?

    Just asking.

  9. awake Says:

    This slight:

“As we know Allah is not an old wise man who sits over the clouds and watch the universe while chewing tobacco and itching his beard.”

    Chewing tobacco?

  10. Eagle Says:

    My my my Sukran,

    Whats wrong today??

  11. salahudin Says:

“So, apperantly our limited languages are not capable to even mention Allah.”

blasphemy!! you are contradicting the quran because gabriel himself spoke in arabic to muhammad, mentioning god upon the command of allah!

shame on you! go stick your pinky finger in a hot fire as a way to remind you of the hellfire that awaits thee!

  12. Sukran Says:

    Awake,

it is true that Qur’an gives totally different description for Allah, than the described by Christianity and Judaism.

I even sincerely believe that we cannot mention Allah as ‘He’ or ‘She’ since Allah is a totally different form than humanbeing.

We, by calling Allah as ‘He’, has already been hurting the ‘truth’ enough, so please do not overreact to my animation.

Eagle, what did I say wrong? I was trying to be funny to have enough attention what I was saying. That is all.

    Seems it worked.
    🙂

  13. Sukran Says:

thanks Salahudin, I will take into consideration your suggestion as soon as I finish my work in THIS world.
    🙂

It sounds nobody wants Muslims in this blog. 😦

  14. Sukran Says:

“If you’re going to tell people the truth, you better make them laugh; otherwise they’ll kill you.” – George Bernard Shaw

  15. Eagle Says:

aw come on Sukran, you know better than that!! This is my blog and I encourage all Muslims to comment here!! All I ask is for people to be respectful

  16. Eagle Says:

You sound kind of depressed of late, is everything ok??

  17. Sukran Says:

I believe I owe an explaination for my expressions, however, I would like to begin with a sincere apology if I seemed as an offender, that never intended.

I AM respectful. I feel we already has hurt Allah by calling as “Him’ . I was NOT indicating any of the belief system or any of the releigion directly, or members of the any religion. Please remember that Allah cannot be described by human languages.

According to my sense, I said what Allah is NOT. It is only my interpretation and I cannot even claim that I am right.

The question was “One more thing, can any of my Muslim readers tell me who the ‘We’ is, in your scripture??”

My answer is, our assumption which is considering Allah in a human like form is totally wrong. Again, my view, nobody has to accept, so no need to be offended, please, but I did anyway, and I am sorry.

So, my humble answer is, even though Allah cannot be described in any of human languages ‘We’ may indicate directly Allah, because Allah can be anything either a System, a Light, a Voice, a Total, a Oneness, a Togetherness or a Noor, ANYTHING but NOT IN A HUMAN FORM.

No where in the Qur’an it is mentioned that Allah has a human form. Voice does not mean it was coming from a human like form.

I hope I could explain well my intention.

I am again so sorry for the inconvenience I caused.

    best regards,
    Sukran

  18. Eagle Says:

    Sukran,

I understand that, but why do you think that no Muslim is welcome here??

And salahudin was just messing with you.

  19. awake Says:

    Sukran,

Knock it off. You made a loose statement and I called you out on it. Personally, I didn’t take any offense at all, but I did enjoy your “apology”, though it was not necessary. 🙂 There will be no rioting on my part. My God is immune to all mortal ridicule and my belief outweighs the comments by others. And cease with the “Eagle hates me and Muslims are not welcome here” pity party you are attending.

I was making a point that I hope you remember, next time I am critical of your comments or tenets of your faith, which I certainly am.

Anyway, “the old man with the beard” is silly in my estimation as is the concept that Allah is too complex to be described in words.

Specifically on this point, I will offer a counter-point to your argument. In Christianity, the concept of God and the revelation of scientific principles by “Him” is well-documented. In other words, things like gravity although attributable to God are unchangeable.

Per Islamic belief, at least as I understand it, is that Allah’s “hand” is unfettered by Scientific principles. If Allah chose to end the physical parameters of gravity tomorrow, for example sake, “He” could and would do so.

Following that linear belief, could not Allah appear in human form if he so desired?

    What say you?

  20. Eagle Says:

Actually I thought the answer by Stefan on the “We” question, was, ‘The Answer’.

  21. in2thefray Says:

First @ Eagle. I liked this post. I particularly liked the ending re: Jews returning to Israel. Count me in w/ those that didn’t know that.
Next. I don’t get the beat down on Sukran. My understanding was that as Awake states pictorial descriptions of Allah were not the norm to say the least. I have to say though that the historical interpretations of Jesus are inaccurate. It makes Christians roll in the aisles but it is pretty impossible for: Jesus to have been caucasian as we consider it today. Likely he’d of been bearded and of a more “olive” tone. God the I Am,get your crayons out and draw me a pic plz. Also is anyone aware of the whole Yahwah thing ?

  22. salahudin Says:

Sukran: yes that’s a quote from my blog… which i’ve put so that everyone understand it’s SATIRE and not maliciously maligning islam etc… 🙂

and eagle’s right i was pulling your leg.. how could i not? you DID issue an apparently silly statement, but don’t take it to heart because otherwise you won’t survive the internet… especially not my blog! LOL

  23. Eagle Says:

I wasn’t beating on Sukran, I was upset that she stated that no Muslim was welcomed here on my blog. Not only are they welcomed, they are encouraged to comment here. I had asked a question about the word “We” when referring to Allah in the Quran, but Stefan had given a good answer to the question already. Also, you know how salahudin is, he was only playing around. Now awake, I can’t say that I appreciate his comment it was a bit rude and disrespectful which I don’t like. But at least he is not as bad as Shiva.
As far as the pictorial descriptions of Jesus, your right, Jesus was a Jew, he would have been olived skined and his hair would NOT have been as long as some of those pictures portrayed.

In Christianity and Islam and Judaism too, I believe that no faith is suppose to try and draw pictures of how we think God looks, in Judaism they don’t even write out the name God, they say G-d. It seems that I read that in the Old Testiment somewhere, but couldn’t tell you where.

And yes, I am aware of Yahwah ‘thing’. 😀

    Does that answer your question?

  24. in2thefray Says:

Actually my first sentence was the only thing directed to you Eagle. From “Next” onward was for the past and future visitors.

  25. Eagle Says:

    Sukran,

I don’t know if you know this, but in the Bible, it says we were created in God’s image. Based on that we assume that God would have some kind of human form, but you know what they say about assuming…it makes an ass out of u and me. LOL 😀

  26. awake Says:

    Eagle,

    Disrespectful comment?

    Which one?

  27. salahudin Says:

awake i think your entire point of view is a disrespect to humanity…

  28. awake Says:

Wow, that means a lot coming from a self-proclaimed thick-skinned person like yourself, salahudin.

So, we disagree on things, and now I am not only disrespectful to all Muslims, but now….ALL OF HUMANITY.

    That’s harsh, sir.

  29. salahudin Says:

well… “democrats are ideologically closer to islamists” is what..? sanity?

i wouldn’t call what i said harsh at all… feel free to shout and scream otherwise.

  30. awake Says:

    salahudin,

I stand by my statement that the democratic party has “far more in common” with the Islamists. I don’t recall using the phrase “ideologically closer” to which you put quotes around as representative of my words specifically.

The Islamists and the Democrats both share a disdain for the Christian right, want to see it’s power diminished, prohibit free speech and assume control via any inspipid means available, all under the false banner of plurality and equal inclusiveness.

It is a double-edged sword however, assuming that the Islamists ever gain a considerable foot-hold in the US, which is currently being aided by the liberal Democrats, they then would immediately morph into the conservative right, with the ultra liberals being at the top of their hit list.

  32. Eagle Says:

So, what are you saying… I’m not sure, if you are talking about the rebuilding of the temple, I will be getting to that.

There is so much information when talking about the prophecy of the end times within the text of Christianity and Islam. It will take me a bit to get through it all. When I am done with Islam and Christianity, I will put up what the Jewish teach and then might even get into some other beliefs from different religions.

  33. snatchmaker Says:

“Each side wants to erase the other”

I’d like to see some evidence that official representatives of Israel say they want to erase the Muslim Arabs otherwise known as “Palestinians”.

I’d also like to see some evidence that Jews in general have expressed the desire to erase Muslim Arabs otherwise known as “Palestinians”.

Then stack that evidence against the Muslim Arabs otherwise known as “Palestinians” as well as Muslims in general who have expressed the desire to erase the Jews of Israel (not to mention often Jews in general).

    No comparison.
