This Is Not Us or Yeh Hum Naheen

I’ve been waiting to get a copy of this video for a little while now, its finally out. This is a group of Muslims, who  share their thoughts on those who are defiling Islam. And what Islam is to them.  Personally, I think its great, what do you think??

This can’t be “real” the writers in Hollywood are on strike. Seriously though good find. I’m sure there are any number of people feverishly googling to see how they can discredit this. Stay right.

    Thank you!

ah leave it to the pakistanis… heh. if their country wasn’t so screwed up, they’d be on the cusp of the islamic reform…

you know… it kind sucks that the US is supporting musharraf… who is a dictator oppressing the middle class – the moderate muslims… this is going to create enemies out of possible friends.

i’m sad to see the US make yet another foreign policy blunder where it creates enemies… and yes i understand the US is supporting mush out of FEAR of the terrorists, but how about bravely erring on the side of ideals this time? might improve relations with the pakistani people….

  4. Eagle Says:

How did you know they were Pakistani?

I agree with you, I am really getting concerned over how our country is getting viewed over seas. I also understand why they are doing it, but in the long run, I fear it will hurt us. It is my understanding that the best thing for the U.S. is if Bhutto takes over. It seems that no matter where I go, I hear the U.S. being trashed, but their reasons are way off track.

those are pakistani artists. hadiqa kiyani, bilal maqsood, shehzad roy, etc…

i don’t like the song itself but i like the message.

yeah bhutto would be best for US interests. although i’d want imran khan to br “placed” as the head of state temporarily, just to give him some exposure. he’s a world famous cricketers turned politician. very progressive, even had some friends in the british royal family. he’s the only one in pakistan as i see as NOT corrupt. but as a politician he just plain sucks… or perhaps that’s to be expected of a non-corrupt 3rd world politician..lol

@Salahudin. Didn’t “know” where at your place to put this.

The cricketeer got arrested and charged under anti terrorism laws. This is getting shakier every minute.

the towelian blog’s open for all comments anywhere. 🙂

but yeah, i read that… heh… well, he must’ve been doing something right if he’s being persecuted like this.

by the way, if you want news with a diet muslim bias, read http://www.dawn.com

very rational, and pretty objective. apart from referring to palestinian and kashmiri fatalities as “martyrs”… i mean, they have my sympathies but .. MARTYRS? lol
