Mufti: No Jewish Prayer In Palestine’s, Jerusalem

magnify

First things first, the photo above was of a 6 year old student who was punched in the face by her Moroccan teacher after she accidently stepped on his prayer mat… All I can say, is its a good thing that wasn’t my child.

I have done my fair share of posts on actions of both Muslim and non-Muslim acts of bigotry. And though I am sure it will meet with disapproval, as some will misunderstand what I am trying to do… I am posting this story anyway. Acts done to deliberately insult, demean, or intentionally hurt others is wrong regardless of who is doing it. If non-Muslims did it to Muslims, if Jews did it to Muslims, if Muslims did it to non-Muslims, or if Muslims did it to Jews. Which brings me to today’s post.

Sadly, this will not be the last post of this kind. I can only hope that by bringing this kind of stuff to the forefront and talking about it, that it might make a difference and change the way we think and act. I recently posted a story about an Italian politician who decided to walk a pig on a site on which a Mosque was due to be built. It was done out of hate, pure and simple. It can’t be justified, because it was completely out of line. It served no purpose and only reinforced the erroneous view that we are at war against Islam, and not Islamist. Obviously there are a whole lot of people out there that never learned the line our mothers taught us as children… “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything.” A bigot by any other name, is still considered a bigot.

We will be getting much farther into Israel as it plays a prominent role in ‘the end times’ prophecy in both Islam and Christianity. But this article is to point out a comment, and how it adds nothing towards the cause of peace. You can find the original article here. I am printing it below in its entirety.

If Jerusalem is divided, and it’s eastern part made the capital of “Palestine” -world Jewry will be forever cut off from the hope it has held onto for 2000 years, and be once and for all prohibited from ascending the Temple Mount and even from praying at the Western Wall.
This warning was clearly sounded in an interview the former PLO-appointed mufti of Jerusalem gave to The Jerusalem Post this week, excerpts of which were published Thursday.

Ikrema Sabri emphatically told the Post no Israelite temple had ever stood on the Temple Mount.

What’s more, the cleric insisted, the Western Wall – whose massive stones the entire world knows to have been laid by Herod the Great during the Roman occupation of the Land of Israel – had nothing to do with any temple either.

“The wall is not part of the Jewish temple. It is just the western wall of the mosque. There is not a single stone with any relation at all to the history of the Hebrews.

“It was always only a mosque – all 144 dunams, the entire area,” Sabri said.

“No Jews have the right to pray there. … No Jewish prayer. If the Jews want real peace, they must not do anything to try to pray on Al-Aqsa. Everyone knows that.”

The Mufti’s ranting underscored how the Muslim Arab effort to wrest Israel’s holiest site from the Jewish people and entrench it under irreversible Islamic control is intensifying in the run-up to next-month’s US-sponsored Middle East conference.

Washington is pushing for this conference, fully aware that the Arab side’s intent is to steal great chunks of Israel’s historic homeland for the creation of a juden-rein Palestinian state that will never tolerate Jewish and Christian worship on or near the Temple Mount – or at any other site deemed sacred to Islam. ((yes I am aware that the same charge has been made against Israel))

((My comment))What if it was the other way around?? What if Israel was “forever cutting off” Al-Aqsa Mosque?? There is another article below, which can be found here. I know that Israel invokes a lot of emotion, but this kind of thing doesn’t help. Is it absolutely hopeless?? Am I wasting my time?? Will everyone keep their preconceived idea’s with out trying for even a minute to understand the other side?? And I’m not just talking about non-Muslims here.

Israel to come under Sharia law, says Israeli Arab cleric
A leading Israeli Arab Muslim cleric said at the weekend that the Jewish state will very soon cease to exist and the whole of the country will come under Sharia (strict Islamic) law as another piece in the puzzle to reconstituting the Islamic Caliphate.

In an interview with a local Arabic-language newspaper, Sheikh Kamal Khatib, deputy head of northern Israel’s Islamic Movement, insisted that the world is “on the threshold of a new era. The future belongs to Islam and the Muslims.”

Khatib said that in preparation for the coming Islamic takeover, Muslims who hold Israeli citizenship like himself should begin to actively rebel against the state by refusing to cooperate with and forming alternatives to the Israeli authorities.

Also at the weekend, Khatib’s boss, Sheikh Raed Salah denounced current peace negotiations leading to a two-state solution to the Israeli-Arab conflict as an “evil Israeli scheme.” Salah, who is also an Israeli citizen, has long maintained that that Muslim world must not recognize Israel’s right to exist.

((My comment))I have so much to say (in regards to the series we are in), too much actually, which makes it very hard to find the words and order that I want it in. Over the next few weeks our current series will discuss different Muslim views in regards to Dajjal, Imam Mahdi, Jesus or Isa as he is referred and Israel. We will talk about Iran and Ahmadnutjob’s feelings on the matter. I will share some of my personal views along with others. I actually feel that the most important time will be when the anti-Christ comes. But fear not, I will also write about Armageddon and the 7 years prior too. And I haven’t forgot about Gog and Magog in Islam. So hang on folks things are getting ready to jump off in here .

Last but definitely not least, what do you think of this story? Is this a crime worth torture and death? Please give me your honest opinion, if you think it is, why do you think it is.

Sorry about the indents, wordpress seems to have a mind of its own.  No matter how many times I formate the post, it decides how it will look when posted.

Petition of Peace

I would like to encourage everyone to sign this petition!! And to pass it on to friends and family. Blog about it, email it, surely we can get a lot of signatures on it.  You can find the person’s who wrote the petition here, and the petition itself here

I won’t go as far as saying that the pledge is my religion, however surely peace is what any religion should stand for.  In the Christian Bible, Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.” Matthew 5:9

In my endeavor during the last year, I have seen plenty of people who do not believe in peace, or even that a certain religion calls for peace.  Some have even gone as far to say that certain religions, or all religions should be banned altogether.  But I have also met people that do and are peacemakers, and that share that belief, from every Abrahamic religion and non-religion.  Do you think that, that’s what Jesus was talking about??  I have always been taught that God is love, I believe that.  Too bad we all can’t.

To Christians;  As we head into this holiday season, may we all remember what Jesus was sent to earth for, and to learn to be more Christ like.

My main question in regards to the petition is, does that mean food as well??  Because, I am a great steak lover lol.

My Personal Belief and Declaration

My Personal Belief and Declaration magnify

The never ending misunderstanding… Let me try one more time.  It appears that at least one Christian, seems to think that I am not a Christian because I have defended the fact that not all Muslims believe in the terrorist ideology.  It is a known fact that Islamist/Jihadist have been given permission to lie, in order for their ‘mission’ to not be discovered.  I don’t think under ANY circumstance they are allowed to ‘convert’ or ‘apostate’ themselves, so let me do this…

I declare that I am a Born Again, Evangelical, Full Gospel Christian!!  I KNOW, that Jesus died for my sins, so that I might be saved from hell fire.  I acknowledge that I am saved by Grace and not by works, just as the Holy Bible says.  I believe in ONE God, Creator of ALL.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth… Romans 1:16 (( Neither am I ))

The God of my rock; in Him will I trust; He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my Savior; thou saveth me from violence.  2 Sam. 22:3

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh I shall see God;  Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another.  Job 19:25-27

Some think that I must condemn anything that isn’t Christian.  I’m sorry you feel that way, I don’t.  Here is what I believe…

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us((has toward us)).  God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.  1 John 4:16

A new commandment I give to you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.  John 13:34-35

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.  He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  1 John 4:7-8

If anyone says, “I love God”, but hates his brother, he is a liar.  For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.  1 John 4:20

Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres… Love NEVER fails.  1 Corinthians 13:4-8

And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.  Acts 24:16

Am I perfect??  Far from it, but I strive to be like Christ everyday, because that is what a Christian is.  If you cannot understand what I am trying to do here after explaining it time and time again, I don’t know what else to tell you.  But you can be sure of one thing… I pray about EVERY post I write.  I pray for guidance, for truth, for love.  You may not understand, but I only write as I think God would have me write.

Some would like for me to condemn all Muslims.  I am NOT going to do that!!  All Muslims are NOT terrorists, they don’t all believe in the terrorist ideology.  The majority of Muslims, are Muslims for the same reason we are Christians, or Jews.  To WORSHIP God.  Jews don’t believe the same thing that Christians do, but I don’t see anybody attacking them because of it.   If you are, then shame on you!!!

I have already made it pretty clear that NONE of us know FOR SURE, who is right.  So in the mean time, try and live in love and peace.  What is it about that which is so hard to understand??

I also want to say something about my last post.  For anyone who has a tendency to think like those who I wrote about.  Or anybody for that matter.

Radical Islam, tells moderate Muslim that we are at war with ISLAM, not terrorists, not OBL, ISLAM.  They want to gather to them as many people as possible to use as pawns in their war against the West.  When you see website after website that has nothing good to say about Muslims in general…or if you indulge in the kind of comments that are above.  You prove their point.

You know and I know that our fight is NOT against Islam.  We in the West have no desire to capture and convert Muslims.  But think about this, when I was preparing that post, I found some of the most hateful stuff, over something as stupid as a foot washing station at an Airport.  Those comments were not directed at Radical Muslims, they were pure hate directed at Muslim in general for no other reason then they were Muslim.  What do we as a nation gain from that??  What do you as a person gain from that??  How is that helping ANYTHING??  There is no excuse for it, NONE.  There is no way that you can say anything to justify that kind of behavior.

Muslims are the number one target of Radical Islam, NUMBER ONE!!  Yes, Radical Islam is bad, and we want to stop it.  It deserves to be talked about, it deserves to be informed on, but to lump all of Islam into that basket is not only wrong, it’s illogical.

Here is another unbelievable thing.  As those of you who follow this blog know, I go to blogs run by Radical Islamist/Jihadist.  I recently found out that one of the blogs I have been going to….wait for it….which did it’s best to inform Muslim in general how wrong they were, and how they weren’t ‘true’ Muslims unless they were out there killing a few people, or as many people as possible…..  Was set up and run by…..  a….. NON-MUSLIM!!  And here is the kicker, that website was listed on every Radical blog out there that speaks English.  Come on people, what is wrong with that picture.  We don’t have enough problems with Radical Islam that you need to help them??

When I started this endeavor 2 months ago I was pretty closed minded myself.  I got my information from some of those, ‘all Muslims bad, all day long blogs’, when I decided to start writing myself I did so because of what I had seen.  I have 4 blogs that all say the same thing, why, because it is that important.  But in the process of researching for my blogs, I found out that I was WRONG.  All Muslims are not terrorists or believe in the terrorist ideology.

All you have to do is look at my very first blog entry and you can see the difference between then and now.  I based my ‘knowledge’, on what someone else had said.  I do believe in a lot of what I said, but I don’t believe some like….  I said; “Islam is based on hate, discrimination, and death. You can cherry pick verses that are against these things, but if you look at it in context or as a whole, the Quran is all about death.”  I do NOT believe that anymore and I am sorry if I offended any Muslim.

The bottom line is, when I wrote this, not only did I not have a Quran, but I had NO CLUE what I was writing about in regards to the religion of Islam.  As I said, I got my ‘knowledge’ from ‘hate Islam all day long blogs’.  I am very grateful that I have since learned other wise.  It is my hope, that we can all learn something from my error.

Since I started this, I have made many friends from every religion and no religion including Muslims from numerous sects.  I have found that they are as diverse as Christians.  I have tried to show that in this long series of posts on bigots or Islamophobia.  I have found that some people will never get it.  Those people don’t just hate Muslims they hate anyone who doesn’t think like them, and have no problem telling you that.  I have been insulted and belittled because I don’t write the way they want me too.  I have even been blogged about for the same reason.

When I am wrong, I don’t have a problem saying I was wrong, in the beginning of this, I was wrong.  Please don’t let only the negative influence your thinking.  How many times do I need to say this, get some Muslim friends.  Muslims, get some Christian friends.  What good do any of us do when we hate.  What point do you make, except that you are closed minded and unable to even consider that you could be wrong.

Some have made it a big point to say that Islam means submit.  Let me break it down for you, it does… It means to submit to GOD.  Muslims are Muslim for the same reason I am a Christian or a Jew is a Jew, to worship God.  It’s real simple.  Some Muslims have a twisted view of what they are on this earth to do, the same can be said about anyone for any given thing.  It doesn’t mean that everyone is that way.

Can I say it any other way, or any more???  Do you understand what I am saying this time??  For those of you who have all along, disregard.  The bottom line is we all need to try a little harder.  Bad behavior doesn’t justify more bad behavior.  Two wrongs don’t make a right.  You know, all those things you were taught as a kid, or should have been.

What Will You Do part 2 or… I Just Have To Say This!!!

What Will You Do, or, I Just Have To Say This!!! magnify

I have been far and wide on the Internet. I have talked to a multitude of people, or read, their writing and/or comments. Muslims with a multitude of idea’s on religion, Christians as well. Hindu’s, Buddhist, Atheist, and on and on it goes.

I’m right, your wrong. Your not “true”, I am. I know everything, you know nothing. You interpreted this wrong, or that wrong. Your going to hell, I’m going to heaven….

I am a Christian so I follow what Jesus taught, which is peace and love. We will know soon enough what is right. But in the mean time, let me tell you what I think. I would NEVER, EVER, pretend to know all the answers, anyone who thinks they do…should re-evaluate. Because there is NO WAY that you do.  We can only do what is in our heart to do.  But to think that you ‘know’, that your right and everyone else is wrong, seems a bit arrogant.

I think that God created us to commune with Him. Which sect of which religion is right; I don’t know and I DON’T CARE. If we would all just behave the way we SHOULD, then life could/would be much better. Does anyone really believe that God wants us fighting over who is right?? Do you think God wants us fighting at all???

Should we fight in His name… “I kill you in the name of the Father”, or how about,  “I hate you in the name of the Father” …how stupid is that???

Bravo!! Way to go!! Just who do you think you serve with that kind of behavior??

For the benefit of those on my other blog, I have a friend, his name is salahudin. He is a Muslim turned Atheist. I don’t agree with everything in his blog, because he makes fun of religion in general. But he does have the right idea in this area.

Thank you Nanyaar. I am not surprised that the land of Gandhi has sons like you.

Violent minded people urge us all to “defend ourselves with arms against Islam”, but conversely the enlightened individual who embraces diversity and shuns xenophobia, only calls for peace and love.

The violent minded individual scorns the peace loving. They say “but they will destroy you! You’re making a grave error!”

I would rather err on the side of love, any day.

How about you?

Just for one second, consider what he has said about living in peace and love, in doing the right thing. If he is right and we are all wrong, why waste the few years we have arguing, killing and hating in the name of God?? I believe in God, but what he said was right on. We should err on the side of love. The link to the above article is below.

COMMON SENSE PEOPLE!!! I wish I could stand on a mountain top and yell that so all the world could hear me.

Does what I said make sense to you?? Do you agree with it??   Regardless of what religion you follow, it’s not our place to judge someone else.  I don’t know what the Quran says about it, but I do know what the Christian Bible says, and it is as I just said.  It’s not our place to judge.  Religion is suppose to be a personal journey, between you and God.

Can we be like these people??  Can you??  Can you try??

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20761374/from/ET/

There is my rant for the day. I hope you will consider what I said. May God Bless You and Yours. I count myself blessed, to have friends from every religion and non-religion. I count myself blessed, to have common sense. We will know soon enough who is right, in the mean time…

PEACE AND LOVE ALL AROUND!!!

This Is Who I Am

333 magnify

I have another blog with identical posts, except for this one.  So for the sake of my readers here, I am posting this from my other blog so you can see why I do what I do, and how I try to carry myself.  SHIVA, this is for you.  Maybe you will better understand who I am by reading this.  Elric never did, maybe your better able to comprehend English.  Understand, I am not you, I won’t think like you.  Elric thought I never did a “good enough” job on informing about radical Islam because I didn’t write the way he thought I should.  Because of that, he decided he should “help” me write MY blog, by spamming it.  It’s good we don’t all think alike, how boring would that be, but his last comments with salahudin showed exactly that he could only see his view, even when it was shown to be false.  You are not going to change my mind so don’t beat me about the head and shoulders with trying.  It gets very old, very fast.  I’m glad you like some of my writing, and thank you for saying it, but please, please, please, respect me as a person, and follow my rules. Below is the post from the other blog.

I thought that I had gone over this enough, for everyone to understand, but apparently not. Its kind of long, but please read it all. I don’t want any more misunderstandings. I want you all to understand what I am doing and why.

My blog is about RADICAL Islam. I write it to inform. I invite Muslims to comment on it for a variety of reasons. First, communication is the key to unlocking misunderstanding. Second, the threat of radical Islam, is a threat to us ALL. That includes Muslims. The terrorists have made it clear that unless you are a Sunni, and want a Taliban style government worldwide…you are a Apostate, and worth nothing but death.

I feel so strongly about what I am doing here, that my eyes are in a constant state of “blurry” vision. There are days when I spend up to 18 hours on the Internet, dealing with this subject only.

Even Radical Muslims are welcome here on this blog. ALL are welcome here. But there are some things that are not welcome here.

I am a Christian, as a Christian, I try to live my life according to the teachings in the Bible. I’m far from perfect, but I try to live, what I read. I am not here to denigrate anybodies religion. No body wants to feel like someone is trashing their religion. No matter what or who you deem as sacred, no one wants that trashed. People will become defensive and will tune you out. That is not what I want to happen here.

I believe in the GOLDEN RULE. For anyone who doesn’t know what the that is, : Do Unto Others, As You Want Done to You!! …..Its one of those things your mother taught you as a child. I want communication, not altercation. Honey, not vinegar.

Do I believe the way, that some people do in my blog comments?? Absolutely not. However, I try not to be rude, in any of my dealings, INCLUDING when talking to radicals on their blogs. Below are just some of the verses that I try to use when working on my blog, and in life in general. I know some people, don’t want to hear it, but at least this one time, I want you to understand the who/what/and how, of me. The following is from the Bible, I tried to leave in enough of context so you know what he is talking about.

Jesus said in Matt. 12:36-37

But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. (vs 37) For by thy words thou shall be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Paul spoke in Ephesians, about speaking the truth in love.

Ephesians 4:1-6 and 4:14-15 says the following:

(vs 1) I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, (vs 2), with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, (vs 3), endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (vs 4), There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling, (vs 5), one Lord, one faith, one baptism, (vs 6), one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (vs 14), that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting of men, (vs 15), but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head, Christ

You can speak the truth in love no matter where you are or what you are talking about.

Proverbs 29:11 says, “A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.” I also can’t forget one of my favorite verse’s, “But the fruit of the spirit is, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. Against such things there is no law.” Gal. 5:22-23I welcome all people to comment on my blog, I DO NOT welcome bigots, or racist. There are people who believe all Muslim people are terrorists, or terrorist sympathizers. I DO NOT, there is no way anyone can convince me of that. By thinking and acting like that, you are no different than the terrorists themselves, who are so blinded by hatred, they can’t see the hand in front of their face.

We know how the terrorists think. If you spend any time reading any of my blog, you know what they think. Its no big secret. The point is, I can inform without being rude and using racist statements. If you can’t, then don’t comment. I don’t want to censure anybody, because it has been done to me on some radical blogs, and even here on 360. BUT, I will not allow anybody to insult, accuse, or be disrespectful, to anybody else commenting on this blog. I will delete any statements with racist hateful remarks.

I want people of all faiths to come to my blog. I want Muslims to come to my blog. I have tried everything I can think of to keep people civil. Some times, there is just nothing more to do than delete rude remarks. If you think I am not doing a good enough job, you can do 2 things. #1) You can email me on things you would like to see. #2) You can write your own blog. I can’t get much more clear.

You can be a glass half full, or a glass half empty kind of person. A glass half full says: “If all Muslims believed like the terrorists, then why aren’t they joining them, singing their praises.?.” A glass half empty says: “If all Muslims didn’t believe like the terrorists, where are their voices?”…..I am a glass half full person, in this regard.

I don’t think that all Muslims know, what the terrorist want, which is why I am writing this blog. How many Americans really know what and why we are fighting?? But you want me to believe that a billion Muslims know and approve of what the terrorists are doing….does that make any sense to anybody??

I want to add one more thing, from 2 Peter 1:5-8 Remember here too, that it can, will and should apply to your whole life, not just in knowledge of Jesus Christ. No matter who you are, or who you worship.

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Moderate Muslim

The Moderate Muslim magnify

In this installment, we will cover a little bit more of Muslims who are against terrorism and radical Islamist/Jihadist. Please let me know if any of this has made you think differently about the average Muslim. As for the photo on the top of the page, disregard the added bumper stickers and cardboard, but ask your self a question. Do you think Muslim women want to come to this?? Because that is what will happen.

Tawfik Hamid, was born into Islam. His parents were secular Muslims in Egypt. I will leave a link on the bottom where you can read what he thinks of the State of Israel.

Tawfik Hamid joined the extremist Islamic group Jamma’a Islameia, while he was a student in medical school. In his studies he was learning to heal, but in his thoughts, as he says, he “dreamed to die for Allah and to share in terrorist acts.” His colleague in these formative days of the terror movement was Dr. Al Zawaheri, then an acquaintance with whom Tawfik used to pray, and now the number two person of Al Qaeda.

Eventually Dr. Hamid questioned the hatred and impulses to violence that participation in extremist Islam was fomenting within him. When he began to preach in Mosques to promote a message of peace instead of violence and hatred, however, he himself became a target of the Islamic extremists who had been his friends. They threatened his life, forcing him and his family to flee Egypt, then Saudi Arabia and from there to the West.

Some of you may have seen interviews he has given to several well know publications. Including, The Wall Street Journal, and National Review, among others. You can do a simple search of his name and get info on interviews and appearances.

A courageous as well as scholarly initiator of Islamic reformation, Dr. Tawfik Hamid seeks to build new thinking within Islam to overcome the hatred and violent extremism that have metastasized within his religious tradition as he states: “in order to make LOVE prevail you should defeat Hatred”!

Another name I would like to bring up is Tashbid Sayyed. He wrote for Pakistan Today. Founded Muslim World Today. And was even memorialized by “Jihad Watch”, when he passed away earlier this year. So, was he not a moderate Muslim? Or do you consider him, not a “true” Muslim? Since he was on the board of Jihad Watch, they must have thought he was. I could write more about this man but you can look him up if you are interested.

Next, Dr Wafa Sultan, she also calls for reform in Islam. If she is no longer a Muslim, then disregard. For the sake of these posts I am strictly using Muslim voices to show there are moderates out there. As far as I can tell, Dr Sultan has not renounced her religion or converted to another.

Here we have another Egyptian, Sa’d Al-Din Ibrahim, the same applies here as Dr Wafa Sultan. Here is a Iraqi rock star (if he’s not, he should be), Iyad Jamal al-din, who believes in a secular government. Doesn’t sound like a radical terrorist to me. Have I mentioned Irshad Manji?? She is another Muslim calling out for reform.

Abdul Hadi Palazzi, Internationally respected pro-Israel authority on Islamic law and distinguished secretary general of the Italian Muslim Association, says that Israel’s right to exist as a nation is described in the Quran. He is against terrorist murder in the name of Islam. Wow, sounds radical to me.

Nonie Darwish, the founder of Arabs for Israel, I told you about yesterday. Her father, Mustafa Hafez, cofounded the Palestinian Fedayeen, a precursor to the PLO terror organization, and was assassinated in Gaza by Israeli commandos in 1956.

Dr. Khaleel Mohammed, PhD, Muslim Zionist, Islamic law specialist and Assistant Professor at the Department of Religious Studies at San Diego State University. Says the Quran clearly states that the Holy Land was promised by God to the Jewish People. Doesn’t sound like a radical terrorist to me either.

Khaled Abu Toameh, an Israeli Muslim, who fights anti-Semitism, and speaks the truth about the PLO/PA. Amir Taheri, speaks out against radical Islam, but I am unsure if he is still a Muslim.

Salim Mansur, a Muslim writer, who has written numerous articles critical of radical Islam, and sometimes of Islam itself. “Instead of acknowledging the reality of the Arab-Muslim world as a broken civilization, we Muslims tend to indulge instead in blaming others for our ills; deflecting our responsibilities for failures that have become breeding grounds of violence and terrorism.” Does that sound like a person who agrees with the terrorist ideology??

Salma Abdallah, another Israeli Muslim. As a proud Muslim woman, Salma believes that coming to terms with realities is of utmost importance today. She councils her Muslim community to accept the existence of the State of Israel and see the positive values that derive from its being a part of the Middle East. She also encourages Muslims to take responsibility for mistakes made in the past and not to blame others, like Jews, Israelis, Americans and so forth. And finally she advises them to deal with the problems within their communities and to take responsibility for improving their own culture, education and community life. I could put that on all of these people, they all deserve a standing ovation.

A lot of these people are from Egypt. President Anwar Sadat, who was killed at the hands of radical Islamist/Jihadist, should be proud of these people.

That should keep you going until the next installment on this topic. Hopefully since yesterday you are able to see that there are MANY Muslims who stand up against radical Islam. They do so at risk of their own life, and the lives of their families. We all know what the terrorists are capable of. Instead of thinking that all Muslims are the same, try and open your mind to the fact that they are NOT. The same way that not all Christians are the same.

The KKK professes Christianity, are all Christians racist?? Some Christians have blown up abortion clinics and killed doctors, are all Christians of that mindset?? Amish Christians dress and behave differently than most Christians, does that mean everyone else is wrong?? The Bible speaks of taking slaves, does that mean we should repeat the practice?? Do you see the point yet?? Want to borrow my glasses??

Interesting reading for all:

What Is A Bigot part 3

What is a Bigot part 3 magnify

I said that I would give examples of Muslims who are against terrorism and against the terrorist ideology. There are many, I thought I would start with the one that might surprise you the most. Arabs and Muslims for Israel. Yes you heard me right, Arabs and Muslims for Israel.

You will find their website below, first lets look at their statement of who they are.

We are Arabs and Moslems who believe:

  • We can support Israel and still support the Palestinian people. Supporting one does not cancel support for the other.
  • We can support the State of Israel and the Jewish religion and still treasure our Arab and Islamic culture.
  • There are many Jews and Israelis who freely express compassion and support for the Palestinians. We Arabs also express reciprocal compassion and support.
  • The existence of the State of Israel is a fact that we accept.
  • Israel is a legitimate state that is not a threat but an asset in the Middle East.
  • Every major World religion has a center of gravity. Islam has Mecca, and Judaism certainly deserves its presence in Israel and Jerusalem.
  • Diversity is a virtue not only in the USA, but would be beneficial around the world. We support a diverse Middle East with protection for human rights, respect and equality under the law to all minorities, including Jews and Christians.
  • Palestinians have several options but are deprived from exercising them because of their leadership, the Arab League and surrounding Arab and Moslem countries who have other goals besides seeing Palestinians live in harmony with Israel.
  • If Palestinians want democracy they can start practicing it now.
  • It will benefit Arabs to end the boycott of Israel.
  • We can resolve our conflicts using non-violent means. Sending our young people on suicide/homicide missions as a form of Jihad is a distortion of Islam. We can do better.
  • We are appalled by the horrific act of terror against the USA on 9/11/2001.
  • It will be better for Arabs when the Arab media ends the incitement and misinformation that result in Arab street rage and violence. We support the Arab media providing coverage of ways that people of all religions are and can live together in harmony.
  • We are eager to see major reformation in how Islam is taught and channeled to bring out the best in Moslems and contribute to the uplifting of the human spirit and advancement of civilization.
  • We believe in freedom to choose or change one’s Religion.
  • We cherish and acknowledge the beauty and contributions of the Middle East culture, but recognize that the Arab/Moslem world is in desperate need of constructive self-criticism and reform.
  • We seek dialogue with Israel. We invite you to join us on a path of love.

They are not anti-Islam, anti-Arab, confrontational or hateful. They remember with sadness and respect the brave Arabs, known and unknown, who were killed or severely punished for promoting peace with Israel; “a special thanks to President Anwar Sadat of Egypt who was killed at the hands of Militant and Radical Islamists after he signed the peace treaty with Israel”.

How great is that? They list several verses in the Quran which talks about Israel. Including this one, and the comment that follows:

[17:104] And we said to the Children of Israel afterwards, “ scatter and live all over the world…and when the end of the world is near we will gather you again into the Promised Land”.

(Comment : This last verse proves that the Quran is declaring that it is the will of G-d himself to gather the children of Israel again in their promised land before the end days. Accordingly, No Muslim has the right to interfere with gathering the Jews in Israel again as this is the will of G-d himself. In addition, Honest analysis of the Quranic verses above leads to the conclusion that the West Bank and Gaza are better called the “occupied” Israeli land.

I would encourage you to check out their website. You will find emails from other Arabs and Muslims supporting Israel. You can also read numerous articles, including one on Osama Bin Lyin’s war on Islam.

I will be submitting more websites and names of Muslims against terrorism. I wanted to start out with the most powerful one. I don’t know how wide spread this website is, or how many Muslims believe this way, that isn’t the point. The point is, the current series of articles on bigotry. To show that not all Muslims think the same. They are not all terrorists or believe the terrorist ideology.

I think that the majority of Muslims are no different than you or I. They want to live in peace and security. They want to be able to support their family. They want their kids to do well in school. Instead of going to Church, they go to the Mosque…so what. They have just as much of a right to worship as we do. And if they don’t, they should. We should all be free to choose who, what, where, or how we worship. Or not worship, if that is our desire. I know that isn’t the case around the world. All I am saying is it should be.

I’ve made the point before, I think God is watching. And I think that the terrorists who are killing in His name, are in for a rude awakening. Those virgins might just be some nuns with shotguns. You have to have a sense of humor.
